Your workouts stay on your phone.

The short version

MOVE is an offline workout tracker. It has no sign-up, no servers, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Everything you log is stored on your device, and nothing is sent to us or anyone else. We cannot see your data, because it never leaves your phone unless you export it yourself.

What MOVE stores on your device

• Workouts you complete: date, mode (Upper, Lower or Full Body), exercises, weights, reps, minutes, total weight moved, duration and your post-workout rating.
• Your progress for each exercise, used to suggest the next session's weights.
• A workout in progress, so you can resume it if the app closes.
• Your settings: units (lbs or kg) and colorway.

This data lives in a local database inside the app's private storage. It is not synced to any cloud service by MOVE. On Android, app backup is turned off, so your data is not copied to Google's backup service.

What MOVE does not do

• It does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data.
• It does not connect to the internet to run.
• It does not include analytics, advertising, crash reporting or social SDKs.
• It does not use your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or health records.
• It does not track you across apps or websites.

Exporting a backup

Settings → Export backup creates a JSON file of your MOVE data and opens your phone's share sheet. You choose where it goes (Files, AirDrop, email and so on). That transfer is handled by your phone and the app you pick, under their own privacy terms. MOVE does not upload the file anywhere.

Deleting your data

Settings → Erase all data permanently deletes everything MOVE has stored, after a confirmation. Uninstalling the app also deletes all of its data. Since we hold no copy, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

Children

MOVE is not directed at children under 13 and collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of MOVE changes how data is handled, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date above will change.
