Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. MOVE has no sign-up and works fully offline. Open it and pick Upper, Lower or Full Body.

How is "weight moved" counted?

Each set adds weight × reps to your total. A 30 lb set of 10 reps adds 300 lbs. Stretches, cardio and timed carries are tracked in minutes and count toward completing the workout, not toward pounds.

Where does today's goal come from?

It is based on your last session in the same mode. You can raise or lower it in 100 lb steps on the Today screen before you start.

Why did my weights change?

After each workout you rate how it felt. Too Easy or Just Right lets MOVE nudge the next session up; Too Hard holds it; Pain or Discomfort puts that exercise on hold and keeps it light until you feel ready.

What is Surf the Rack?

On machines and racks with fixed steps, MOVE may offer to drop to the next lighter weight between sets so you can keep your reps. Pick the lighter weight or keep the current one.

Can I switch to kilograms?

Yes. Tap ⋯ on the Home screen, then pick kg under Units. Your history is stored in pounds and shown in your chosen unit.

How do I change the colors?

Tap THEME on the Home screen and choose Black & Gold, Blueprint or Pink Pulse.

How do I move my data to a new phone?

Tap ⋯, then Export backup, and save the file somewhere you can reach from the new phone. Your data is never stored on our servers, so keep that file safe.

How do I delete everything?

Tap ⋯, then Erase all data, and confirm. Uninstalling MOVE also removes all of its data.

I closed the app mid-workout.

Your sets are saved as you log them. Reopen MOVE and tap RESUME on the Unfinished Workout card.

Train safely
